Good afternoon, Internet.

I have some big news. Now, if you follow me on Twitter, you’ve probably already seen this, but I wanted to make it official today. Posted above is the official cover photo for my first album, Bunny in Paradise. I’ve been in the studio a ton this spring and I can’t wait for you to hear the music. The first single, “A Love Worth Hoppin’ For” is due out later this month.

What: Acoustic House Show to benefit Nashville Young Life w/ Robby Earle and Eric Parker.

When: March 28, 7:00 PM

How much: 15 dollars (includes hors d’œuvres and beverages)

(You know everything you need to know already, but if you want to keep reading, it’s a free country and I have an extended version of the invitation below).

I will be playing a house show in two weeks with some of my best buds. There will be beverages and hors d’œuvres (pronounced, “horse dwarves”), musical camaraderie, and best of all, the show will raise money for kids to go to camp and be shown the Gospel through zip lines, pillow fights, and the service of dedicated volunteers.

Tickets are 15 dollars. As a college student I understand this is a stretch, but I cannot begin tell you the impact you could make on a kid’s life. Some of my best friends met Christ at a Young Life camp and they haven’t been the same since. It really is a miracle. Come out and support and I personally promise to make it worth 15 dollars. I will sing you out to your car. I will wash your car if that feels more concrete. Plus, Robby and Eric are incredible, so…

Musician and funny man Matt Wright has won our hearts! After MCing the benefit show “Hope for Nolan” last night and playing his own set of original music, Matt has proven his Pick of the Week-ability. Senior and songwriting major Matt Wright was entertaining us long before the show started! He sat down at sound check and churned out a song about how much generic Christmas music at the mall irritates him. Our one complaint is that he refused our gift of mardi gras beads to wear during the set. However, in time we will forgive him. Who are we kidding? We already did because we love him so much!
