When Hipsters Attack

37 seconds of gold. Also, for the record, I’ve been listening to Arcade Fire’s Grammy-award-winning album, “The Suburbs” constantly since arriving in Scotland.

Also, I apologize for the profanity. I don’t hear cuss words anymore because I live in Scotland. Cuss words are like rabbits here. And by that I mean they’re everywhere.

Happy Valentine’s Day to the world from myself and my brilliant new friend Jordan.

Settled.

Beautiful, isn’t it? Hogwarts-esque?

Well, I don’t live here. My friend Meredith does, but I do not. I’m not going to post a picture of Andrew Melville Hall right now because it is just too stunning. The elegant lines of its timeless, late-60’s architecture will have to wait. Just know that I am settled. Also, the common room in Mere’s hall, which has moving paintings and a floo network, also has a 7-foot grand piano that will be recorded soon.

St. Andrews is incredible and perpetually wrapped in prime songwriting weather. Music is coming soon.

Nothing says, “Hello, World,” like a high school passport photo. Headed to Scotland. Expect many musical presents from across the pond.

Thanks to everyone for coming out to the show last night. It was incredible to see so many familiar faces and to meet some new ones.

This photo was debowed from Lea Babcock’s twitter and is much appreciated.

There Will Be A Show On Friday

Just in case you haven’t been reached by the all-encompassing power of the Facebook, I wanted to let you know that I will be playing a show with Aaron Childree at REV Coffee this Friday night (the 7th) at 8:00 PM. Come early to exchange smiles and handshakes and stay late to enjoy music and well-prepared coffee. Also included, free hugs.

Adam’s Son - Original

Recorded in the Belmont practice rooms with my dear friend Meredith, by my brother Austin Atwood. There will be more to come.

From RCA Studio B, Nashville. Original song.

Semi-daily life/beard documentation.

Love, Matt
